This website has been created by people with a common interest - improving the lives of people with Down Syndrome and their families. The Down Syndrome Society of RI (DSSRI) welcomes input from various parents and professionals. We do not, however, as an organization, support or endorse any particular treatment or therapy. The purpose of this website is to provide information and a forum for an exchange of ideas. Please submit information or articles to DSSRI via the BULLETIN BOARD page of this site. DSSRI reserves the right to edit any submissions for appropriate and "person-first" language.
